Who are you?
I am Agustin Urbano, and I am a photographer from Reedley, CA.
When did you start taking pictures?
When I was 10 my dad got my sister a Kodak EasyShare point-and-shoot camera, but I think I used it more than her to shoot field trips, film myself skateboarding, and random things.
Then when I was 14 my parents went for a walk and found another Kodak on the ground; and that one had a few cool manual controls at the time, like an 8 second shutter, and it came in red.
When did you start shooting for people?
I started shooting for clients soon after I got comfortable with my first DSLR camera at 19 years old.
What do you specialize in?
Headshots, automotive, and real estate photography.
Who usually hires you?
Lots of parents contact for me for family pictures, models updating their portfolio, and car enthusiasts wanting new pictures of their cars.
Graduating students also book pictures, as well as realtors, business owners, and people needing professional lifestyle pictures.
What is your favorite thing to photograph?
My favorite thing to shoot is artsy portraits. Mainly because I get to use my favorite lens & camera setup, and extra lighting equipment to help make some really awesome photos.
What do you include in your retouching?
Edits may include but are not limited to:
Blemish removal
Teeth whitening
Eye brightening
Stray hair fixed
Wrinkles near the eyes softened
“designer bags” under the eyes removed
Skin softening with natural texture
Editing with highlights and shadows for contour effect
Miscellaneous objects photoshopped out of the background, foreground, or subject (lint, small shirt wrinkles, and more)
Major edits may be available for extra
Are you an Adobe Certified Associate in Photoshop?
